INTRODUCTION
This vocabulary of Kapampangan words is an attempt to acquaint the Kapamapangans as well as the Non-Kapampangans in the pronunciation of basic words used in everyday conversation or in the writing of the Kapampangan language. For genuine native speakers, there is no need to use these accents especially in writing, but if they wish, they can do so.
These accents are used as guides in the proper pronunciation of words as a wrong accent can alter the meanings of a lot of Kapampangan words.
RULES IN READING KAPAMPANGAN
In linguistics, the accent is considered as a symbol to give stress to a syllable or to a word. There are three accents used in Kapampangan Grave Accent ( ` ); Acute Accent ( ´ ) a symbol of the weight or length of an accent, and the Circumflex ( ^ ) a symbol of the glottal stop in the voice.
